"This is an important time for Gamma Gamma Chi Sorority, Inc., and I feel a need to re-connect with all of our sorors. I sense that our sorors need to re-connect with each other as well," said President and Executive Director Dr. Althia F. Ali as she announced another first for GGChi.

For the first time in Gamma history, National Headquarters will host a live webcast for all sorors who have been inducted, regardless of their financial status. The event is set for April 3 at 9:00PM EDT. Registration will be available beginning March 25, with details to be sent to soror's email addresses on file with National Headquarters.

In explaining the upcoming event, Dr. Ali said that the purpose of the webcast is to "help our sorors remember why they became Gammas and to know that we are all a part of a wonderful twofold sisterhood that time, distance, and economic conditions cannot erase. We have a special bond that holds us together, and it's important for us to remember that so that we take advantage of all resources that are at our disposal. Sorors will be able to talk with me and with each other during this 60-minute event." Regardless of their location, all sorors will be able to participate in the live event.

All sorors are asked to send their current email addresses to soror_update@gammagammachi.org to ensure that they are kept informed of webcast details.
